When is the last time you heard a sermon in Church concerning the abominations to the Lord that He hates? Have you ever heard a sermon preached on this subject?
When God says He despises something and what we practice is an abomination to Him, we ought to take note and not do these things. However, because we are mostly taught about God’s love and mercy, many of His people are not genuinely concerned about the things God despises or hates. They think that since He is a loving, merciful Father, nothing could ever upset Him and make Him angry.
God is loving and merciful, but He is also a holy “righteous” judge. As such, He expects those who love Him to be holy as well, for this reason: He knows what is best and He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt the consequences of sin, evil, and our disobedience. The wages of sin is death.
Thus, God gives us His commandments (His instructions) because He is a loving Father who wants to protect His beloved children from coming outside of His umbrella of protection and provision, because we choose to rebel against Him and His way of doing things.
Only the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness and removes our sins. However, our sins required Jesus to die for us, and we should feel compelled to love Him by obeying Him.
Thus, we reciprocate His great love for us by keeping His commandments (John 14:15 and 1 John 5:3).
And, above all else, we should despise what He despises and we should love what He loves. We should make it our highest aim to please the very One who was willing to die for us and set us free from the wages of sin, which is death, with His precious blood.
Below, I have included a synopsis of 30 abominations to the Lord. And, in the following teaching, I list all the Scriptures substantiating these abominations to the Lord that I have listed in this post.

An individual with an inquiring mind would ask themselves this question. Why did Jesus send the demons into the pigs? Because pigs are UNCLEAN animals, Yahweh forbids us to eat them as food.
In Mark 5:12, we are told the demons begged Jesus to send them into the swine because demons look for “unclean” vessels to dwell in. And, we are told explicitly in Matthew 8:32, Jesus did, in fact, send the demons into the herd of swine, which ended up running
violently down the steep place into the sea and perishing in the water.
I am being led to ask a serious question for you to consider. If sacrificing a pig on the altar in the temple of God to the false god Zeus caused the abomination of desolation to occur in history when the physical temple existed, then why do we think it is
now permissible for us to eat the flesh of swine?
This question is particularly significant because under the New Covenant, disciples of Jesus Christ are a living sacrifice. On the altar of our hearts is where the Ark of the Covenant—the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit, Christ in us—dwells. Hence, our
bodies are the Temple of the Living God.
God has not changed His mind about pigs being “unclean.” They still are not permissible for us to eat based on God’s law in Leviticus 11:7–8 and Deuteronomy 14:8 where God specifically commands us not to eat the flesh of swine. And the prophet Isaiah speaks
about eating the flesh of swine in Isaiah 65:3–4 and Isaiah 66:17, which are end-time Scriptures yet to be fulfilled.
Are we defiling our bodies every time we eat pig, which is an abomination to the Lord? Let's allow God's Word to answer this question. We are told the answer in Isaiah 65:4, which says, “…Who eat swine’s flesh, And the broth of abominable things is in their vessels…” (NKJV)

And, each year at Christmas, believers all over the world add the three wise men to the scene, which never happened. Isn't it time we worship Him in Spirit according to truth?
Matthew 2:9-11: "When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. And when they had come into the HOUSE, they saw the young Child [He wasn't a baby when this occurred] with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
ARE YOU BEING EQUIPPED FOR WAR OR TO ESCAPE?
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then, after the battle, you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
Ephesians 6:10-18
This is the only commandment of the Ten Commandments that comes with a promise. Just to let you know, there is no loophole. God doesn't tell us to honor our fathers and mothers if we think they deserve it. By the way, as is clearly shown here, all Ten Commandments are reiterated in the New Testament, including keeping the 7th "day" Sabbath holy. God does not change His mind about what He said at the front of our Bibles.
